Funding opportunities
The Circuit Breaker Action Business Support Package contains four initiatives targeted at business, including small and micro business and includes:
- The new $92 million Business Costs Assistance Program offers grants of $2000 for eligible businesses and sole traders in the most impacted sectors. Applications are open now and will close on Tuesday 16 March 2021.
- The $16.2 million Victorian Accommodation Support Program will assist accommodation providers that had bookings cancelled between Friday 12 February and Wednesday 17 February due to the circuit breaker action. Registrations of interest are now open.
Gov rebates for digital tools including web creation, e-commerce, online accounting + more

Join the Small Business Digital Adaptation Program now to trial a range of digital products and access free digital adaptation training and workshops to help your business adopt and implement online tools.
After you purchase a digital product from a participating provider, you can apply for a rebate of $1,200 to access the product for 12 months.
Reactivate Window Art
During the Castlemaine Fringe Festival you can take yourself on a day and night walking tour of the CBD, visiting 30 window installations. The windows feature fine art, light installations and sculpture by some of Castlemaine’s most wonderful artists and it’s fabulous to see this collaboration with our local traders!
