If 2020 was the year a virus shut down the world – forcing many to run businesses behind closed doors – 2021 invites us to fling open the windows to the fresh breeze of opportunity.
Along with many local organisations, Business Mount Alexander (BMA) was impacted by COVID restrictions, disrupting its regular practice of networking and information exchange. With newly received funding from Business Victoria, BMA is now set for revitalisation, as it celebrates the appointment of Ingrid Gaiotto as its passionate new Project Officer.
Ingrid is a local Castlemaine resident and mother of three, and is known to many in town as a founding partner of Origini café. Her current venture, In giro Tours, leads bespoke cultural tours to her home country, Italy. Ingrid also teaches micro business operations at Tarrengower and Loddon Prisons.
Ingrid is keen to take on the challenge, ‘I’m passionate about the enormous impact – both in terms of profit and value to the community – that’s possible when businesses work together in collaborative and innovative ways and leverage their skills, resources and connections.’
