News from the BMA Committee…
Thanks to everyone who attended our recent After 5 Drinks Night at The Taproom. It was lovely to meet so many new faces and learn about their businesses. Photographer, Brendan McCarthy has kindly produced a selection of photographs from the night and Scott Sanders entertained us with his lovely guitar playing – thanks guys!
If BMA members would like to support future functions please email Genevieve at gen@businessmountalexander.org.au. We will be planning our next event for a Spring breakfast sometime in October.
In this eNews we share info on upcoming courses in Online Marketing, RSA and Food Safety; plus an opportunity for tourism/retail/hospitality micro-businesses to receive subsidised digital marketing mentoring.

The opportunity aims at improving the digital capacity of small and micro tourism businesses such as retail, accommodation and hospitality businesses across the Bendigo Regional Tourism area (Mount Alexander, Loddon and Central Goldfields shires and City of Greater Bendigo).
Choose the topics you would like to learn more about and if successful you’ll be matched you with an industry expert. Receive personalised mentoring in your place of business, at a time suitable to you.
Skill development ideas include social media, digital advertising, email marketing, website management & SEO, marketing automation, Google Basics, Google Adv’s, Blogging & copywriting, Trip Advisor and review management.
The program is funded by the Australian Government’s Building Better Regions fund, the City of Greater Bendigo and Bendigo Regional Tourism. Read more…
