Working Dog Wines is a Mount Alexander–based, small-batch winemaking business crafting characterful wines from Heathcote and Bendigo fruit. We make the wines in Heathcote (for now), as we build towards establishing both a winery and vineyard here in the Shire.

We lean into Mediterranean varieties and blends, making wines that are approachable, expressive, and built for drinking—not overthinking. The kind you open on a Wednesday and again on the weekend.

Our approach is thoughtful but not precious, with a down-to-earth, slightly cheeky edge that shows up in both the wines and the way we do business.

We’re always up for a good collaboration—whether that’s events, stocking wines, partnerships, or something a bit left of centre that brings people together and adds to the local scene.
