Harcourt businesses need your support!
BMA is partnering with FRRR for a secure way to to collect and distribute donations.
Business Mount Alexander is proud to be partnering with the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) to support the recovery and resilience of Harcourt businesses following the recent devastation of The Cool Store, huge areas of orchards and farmlands, and many other smaller businesses and homes.
This partnership will focus on practical, locally-led support to help affected businesses stabilise, rebuild and reconnect with their customers and community. Working alongside local stakeholders, the initiative aims to strengthen business confidence, encourage economic recovery, and ensure Harcourt remains a vibrant and resilient part of our Shire’s business community.
Please donate funds for this important cause, or share with other businesses or organisations who can:
Account name : Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal Public Fund

The BMA is also designing and rolling out a Buy Local Campaign for Mount Alexander Shire in the next few months. The campaign will directly seek to engage surviving Harcourt businesses and those affected by recent events, supporting them to reconnect with customers when they are ready to return to trading.
Together we will help Harcourt Rise!

The scale of loss is heartbreaking, and my thoughts are with everyone in the Harcourt community as they begin the long road to recovery. BMA is committed to working with Harcourt businesses and are advocating government to rebuild the Cool Stores and support a BUY LOCAL campaign. Please let us know any assistance you need and we will try to support you and connect you with the appropriate services.
