BMA Executive Officer Update
The Committee of Business Mount Alexander met last week with our main focus on how we can further support & promote local businesses. We’re still in early planning stages for our next cross-regional event, so stay tuned. The monthly social drinks night will continue with our our next catch up on 23 June at The Taproom – an opportunity to meet other business folk for a casual drink and good conversation.
We’ve been distributing our new stickers to BMA members so get in touch if you haven’t received yours yet.
Congratulations to the recently announced winners of the Mount Alexander Heritage Awards. A couple of our BMA members were recipients of these awards including Das Kaffeehaus for Adaptation & Conservation of Historic Spaces. Well done!
Small Business Mentoring
Do you need some support with a particular element of your business? Are you needing advice on how to attract more customers, how to use social media or get your finances in order? Small Business Mentoring Service Inc offers 60 – 90 minute mentoring sessions with a local professional for $100 per session.
BMA members are entitled to a 50% discount on a business mentoring session with SBMS, at a cost of $50 for attending the next workshop provided by Mount Alexander Shire Council. (Mentoring sponsored by Robertson Hyetts Solicitors)
